Can I pause my broadband service temporarily?

Yes, Airwire Broadband gives you the option to pause (or suspend) your broadband service for a limited period of time. This feature is especially useful if you are travelling, shifting temporarily, or won’t be using the internet for a few weeks.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Request Process

    • You can place a service pause request by contacting our customer support team through the helpline, email, or Airwire app (if available in your area).

    • Please mention the start and end date (or approximate duration) of the pause.

  2. Duration of Pause

    • The service can generally be paused for a minimum of 7 days and up to 90 days at a stretch (depending on your plan and area policy).

    • If you need an extension, you can request it again before the end of the initial pause period.

  3. Billing & Validity

    • During the pause period, billing is suspended, so you will not be charged for unused days.

    • The validity of your plan is extended by the number of days the service was paused. For example, if you pause your connection for 20 days, those 20 days will be added back to your plan validity once the service resumes.

  4. Reactivation

    • The service automatically resumes on the requested end date.

    • You can also request an early reactivation if you return sooner.

  5. Things to Keep in Mind

    • A small processing fee may apply for service suspension, depending on your plan.

    • Pausing is not applicable for certain short-term or promotional plans.

    • Make sure to request the pause at least 48 hours in advance so our team can process it on time.

Yes, you can pause your Airwire Broadband temporarily without losing money on unused days. Just raise a request with our support team, and we’ll suspend billing and extend your plan validity accordingly.
