What is a Fair Usage Policy (FUP)?

At Airwire Broadband, we aim to provide a smooth, consistent, and high-quality internet experience for all our customers. To achieve this, we follow a Fair Usage Policy (FUP), which ensures that internet bandwidth is distributed fairly among all users and prevents network congestion caused by extremely high data consumption.

How FUP Works:

  • Each broadband plan comes with a high-speed data limit. You can enjoy internet at the maximum speed offered in your plan until you reach this limit.

  • Once the allotted high-speed data is consumed, your connection will continue without interruption, but the speed will reduce as per your plan’s FUP guidelines.

  • The speed reset happens at the beginning of the next billing cycle, when your plan renews.

Why FUP is Important:

  • It ensures that all users get fair access to high-speed internet without being affected by heavy or excessive usage from a few connections.

  • It helps maintain network stability and quality, especially during peak hours.

  • It allows Airwire to continue offering affordable and reliable plans to everyone.

If your plan offers 100 Mbps speed with 3,000 GB FUP, you will enjoy full 100 Mbps speed until you reach 3,000 GB usage in your billing cycle. After that, your speed may reduce (for example, to 10 Mbps) until your next renewal date.

Don’t worry—most customers never experience reduced speeds, as our plans are designed with generous data limits to cover normal streaming, browsing, video calls, and work-from-home needs.
