re there any additional benefits like free OTT subscriptions, calling packs, or bundled services?

What is confirmed / public offerings

From Airwire’s official sites and public materials, these are the extra benefits they are offering or advertising:

  1. OTT (“Free OTTs”)

  2. Voice / Calling / “Voice free”

    • Some plans say “Voice free / Wifi UPS free*” as part of their benefits in higher tiers.

    • However, it is not clearly stated how much voice is free, whether local/STD, mobile or fixed, or whether unlimited.

  3. Bundled equipment or support services

    • “Wifi UPS free*” (in some plans). This suggests they may bundle a UPS or backup power supply for the WiFi router to keep the connection alive during power interruptions.

    • “Free installation” is offered in most plans.

  4. Triple play / “bundled services” vision

    • Their About Us page refers to being a “household Brand of Bangalore for the triple play service, as now extended…” Triple play usually refers to Internet + TV + Voice. This implies an intention or offering towards those bundled services.

    • They also claim in certain plans that there are add-on offers.

  5. Higher-speed / premium plans have more perks

    • For faster or more premium plans (e.g. Amaze, Ultra, Giga) the wording often includes “OTT available…” which suggests these are the plans more likely to get OTT benefits.

What is unclear / not found / ambiguous

There are several areas where Airwire’s publicly available info either doesn’t specify enough, or doesn’t show certain features. These are risks or things to verify:

  • Which OTT services exactly are included: There is no consistent public detail about which streaming platforms (Netflix / Prime / Hotstar / local OTTs etc.), what quality tier, whether the subscription is full or limited, or how long it's valid.

  • Voice calling details: While “Voice free” is mentioned, what kind of voice (fixed line / mobile / VoIP), how many minutes, whether unlimited or restricted, whether only local or STD, is not clearly spelled out.

  • Bundled TV / DTH / IPTV: I did not find clear evidence in the sources reviewed that Airwire includes TV channels or a set-top-box etc. “Triple play” suggests potential, but actual implementation (e.g. TV channels + box) not found in the plan details I saw.

  • Cost of extras / fine print: Terms like “free” are often with asterisks; there may be conditions (duration, availability, only with certain plan durations etc.). For example, OTT “for 6 months and above plans” indicates that shorter-term plans might not qualify.

  • Calling packs beyond “voice free”: I did not find publicly that Airwire offers bundled mobile calling (or unlimited STD mobile calls) or special calling packs. The “voice free” probably refers to fixed-line voice or a limited voice service, but not full mobile call packs.

  • Exact geographical availability / differences by area: Offers (OTT, voice free, UPS free etc.) may differ by location (city / PIN code / suburb), depending on their network capacity or promotions.

What to check / ask before subscribing

To make sure you know exactly what you’ll get, here are specific questions to ask / verify:

What to Verify Why It Matters
  • Which OTTs are included (names, tiers, validity)
Because “OTT free” could mean many things — some might be smaller or regional; may have limited duration.
  • Duration of OTT benefit (does it last full subscription, or for first few months only)
Some plans might give OTT free only for 3-6 months. After that, you might pay extra.
  • Voice / “Voice free” detail: what type (fixed line or mobile), limits, local/STD, free minutes or unlimited etc.
To avoid surprises in bills or extra charges.
  • Is the voice service VoIP or traditional landline?
Quality differs; local regulations / connectivity might differ.
  • Bundled hardware / services: WiFi UPS, router, set-top box, installation fees, maintenance etc.
Some “free” items may only be free for certain plan durations, or may require you to maintain plan for N months.
  • Plan duration / commitment needed for the perks (OTT, free voice etc.)
Often the better benefits come with longer commitments (6-12 months).
  • Availability in your area of the exact plan with those perks
Sometimes certain perks are only offered in       certain localities.

Bottom line / what seems likely

Based on what I saw, here are what seem to be realistic expectations if you sign up with Airwire at a higher-speed or premium plan in Bengaluru or a well-served area:

  • You’ll likely get free installation.

  • You may get some OTT benefits if you commit for 3+ months or pick a premium plan.

  • You may also get voice free-service or fixed-line voice included, but not necessarily mobile call packs.

  • Some plans may include UPS-backup for the router / WiFi device so that a power cut doesn’t kill your internet (or at least the router remains powered).

  • But I would not assume TV channels / set-top-box or large bundles of mobile-calls unless explicitly specified.
