What’s the process to pause my service?

What’s the process to pause my service with Airwire Broadband?

At Airwire Broadband, we understand that there may be times when you need to temporarily pause your internet service—whether you’re going on holiday, relocating for a short period, or simply don’t need service for a while. We offer a service pause option to help you manage your account without having to cancel and reapply later.

Here’s how to pause your service:

1. Contact Customer Support

To initiate the pause, you’ll need to contact our customer service team. You can reach us through one of the following ways:

  • Phone: Call us at [080-46990699]

  • Email: Send a request to [support@airwirebb.com]

  • Online Portal: If you’re registered for our customer portal, you can also submit a pause request directly through your account.

It’s best to give at least 7 days’ notice before your desired pause date so we can process your request in time.

2. Provide Key Details

When you contact us, be sure to include:

  • Your account number or the name and address linked to your account.

  • The start date you’d like the service pause to begin.

  • The expected duration of the pause (e.g., 1 month, 3 months, etc.).

Please note: Airwire allows service pauses for a minimum of 1 month and typically up to a maximum of 6 months. If you need longer, we’ll work with you to find a suitable arrangement.

3. Confirm Terms

Once we receive your request, we’ll confirm:

  • Whether your account is eligible for a service pause (e.g., account must be in good standing).

  • Any administration fees that may apply (a small fee may be charged depending on the duration).

  • If your monthly fee will be reduced or waived during the pause (in most cases, paused services incur a minimal holding fee to maintain your account).

4. Reactivation

When your pause period ends, service is typically automatically reactivated on the agreed date. If your plans change, you can contact us to either:

  • Extend the pause (if within the allowed limits).

  • Reactivate early at no additional cost.

You’ll receive an email or SMS reminder before your service resumes so you’re not caught off guard.

Important Notes:

  • You won’t lose your customer details or connection priority by pausing your service.

  • Pausing your service does not cancel your contract if you’re on a fixed-term plan—it simply puts it on hold.

  • You’ll retain your equipment and will not need to return it during the pause unless otherwise advised.
