Can I keep my existing email address or domain when switching to Airwire Broadband?

Yes, in most cases you can retain your existing email address or domain when switching to Airwire Broadband, but this depends on how your current email is set up.

1. Third-Party Email Providers (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo)

If you use a third-party email service such as Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo Mail, or iCloud, there will be no disruption to your email when you switch to Airwire. These email addresses are independent of your broadband provider and will continue to work as usual.

2. Email Addresses from a Previous Internet Provider

If your current email address is tied to your previous broadband provider (such as @eircom.net, @vodafone.ie, or others), you may still be able to keep it, but it depends on that provider’s policies. Some may allow continued use after your account is closed, while others may deactivate the address or charge a small monthly fee to retain it.

We recommend contacting your current provider to clarify their email retention policy before cancelling your service.

3. Custom Domains and Business Emails

If you have a custom domain name for personal or business use (e.g., you@yourcompany.ie), you can absolutely keep using it. Airwire Broadband services do not affect your domain hosting or email configuration. You can continue managing your domain and email through your existing provider (such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or any domain registrar).
